Charity Fitness Festival | LA October 26
Join us for our 3rd Annual Charity Fitness Festival. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an area particularly close to our hearts. Our co-founder, Sarah, lost her mom, Holly, to breast cancer in 2013. In honor of the millions of women, like Holly, who have battled or are currently battling breast cancer, we are proud to be hosting another Fitness Festival to support the cause.
We encourage you to come alone or grab a friend for a workout (or two or three)! We have partnered with multiple fitness studios and celebrity fitness trainers in LA for the event. Throughout the day you can enjoy back-to-back workouts from some of today's most popular studios and highly sought after influencers & trainers -- check out their bios below! We'll also provide snacks, refreshments, wellness activities like skin consultations, lymphatic massages, chair massages, organic spray tans, and more!
We will sweat it out at the Andaz West Hollywood Panorama Ballroom, located adjacent to their pool deck (the highest rooftop pool bar in LA!). Before or after your workout, you are invited to lounge on a chaise or daybed at their pool beneath the warm California sunshine.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. If you feel inclined to donate more than the cost of your ticket, you will be prompted at check out to select an additional dollar amount of choice.

Justin and Taylor Norris are the co-founders of LIT Method, a high intensity, low impact workout method that has multiple retail locations and an online platform. With backgrounds in physical therapy, Justin and Taylor have been featured on the Dr. Phil show, the Doctors, and have been recognized by major publications for their innovative training method in the fitness industry. LIT Method Description: LIT Method is a high intensity, low impact workout with no running, no jumping, and no weights! By using resistance bands and your own bodyweight, this total body workout is designed to strengthen your muscles, correct muscle imbalances, and aid in injury prevention! Are you ready to get LIT!?
Rachel McClusky, originally from Chicago, IL, has been in the fitness industry for over 5 years teaching multiple modalities. Her passion for connecting people through movement has led her to inspire people from the inside out at BoxUnion. She is NASM certified and a boxing badass! She will inspire you to move in a way that connects mind, body, and soul. BoxUnion Description: BoxUnion is a new group fitness boxing concept where their 45 minutes workouts incorporate their BOX-TO-THE-BEAT methodology. During this event you will learn the correct boxing stance, the 6 basic punches, and defensive moves through shadow boxing. Plan to leave sweaty, de-stressed and empowered to take on life! All fitness levels are welcome; zero previous boxing experience required. No gloves necessary!
Luke Milton's fitness career began as a professional Rugby player in Australia where he was lucky enough to play for his country. After retiring, Luke founded the group fitness studio, Training Mate, which now has 3 locations in Los Angeles. When he’s not teaching there, he’s a celebrity trainer here in Los Angeles, and is currently featured on “Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian.” Training Mate Description: Our unique combination of intense HIIT training and cheeky humor will get you in the best shape of your life before you know it! We will go through 9 full-body exercises performed in a traditional circuit format. After this class, you’ll be hotter than the Australian Outback.
January Malkus is a Lagree Advanced Level 2 Certified instructor at The Studio (MDR). The Studio (MDR) Description: This will be a Lagree style workout, similar to what you would find at The Studio (MDR). High intensity and low impact, easy on your joints, and you will break a sweat! A total body workout with stretches incorporated throughout.
Amanda Kloots is a celebrity fitness trainer and creator of AK! Rope, AK! Dance, AK! Body, and AK! Baby Bump. Amanda’s classes are a mix of dance and cross training with special attention on form and details to create a unique, fun workout that will have you drenched in sweat in minutes! Her creativity is unmatched, her energy is contagious, and her positivity everlasting. No matter your experience level, you’ll be captivated by Amanda’s radiant persona and empowering attitude. AK! Body Description: AK! Body is as if you were in a private session with Amanda, but in a class atmosphere. You can expect a mega mix of her signature dance class mixed with toning moves on the mat. In the body you focus on longer sequences that force you to focus, connecting your mind to what your body is doing.
Eric Bigger is a well-known fitness trainer & TV personality known for appearances on shows like The Bachelorette, Celebrity Family Feud, and Dancing with the Stars. Additionally, Eric is an author and nationally recognized motivational speaker. Today, Bigger is committed to using his platform in order to create a dialogue of health, peace, and prosperity; all while effortlessly being the leading man of our generation. Eric is a native of Baltimore, MD who is full of positivity and inspiration. Eric Bigger's Workout Description: Get ready for a total-body workout. We will hit every body part, do incantations, stretch, meditate, and move the body. Think of it as motivational fitness, boot-camp style with some high-intensity workouts. It will be fun and a great time!
Jen Esquer (Doc Jen Fit) is a Top 40 Physical Therapy Influencer and has been named one of the top 50 most influential healthcare professionals. With a Doctorate in physical therapy she is ranked as one of the Best Fitness Trainers on IG by Shape Magazine and has been featured in Self Magazine, Men’s Fitness & Muscle and Fitness. She is the Founder and Owner of Mobility Method, LLC, sits on the medical advisory board for Women’s Health and Strong Fitness magazine and is an online sensation with more than a 1/2 million followers and viral videos with millions of views helping people shape and reshape how they use their body. Doc Jen Fit Recovery Flow Description: Doctor of Physical Therapy, Jen Esquer, will take you through relaxing breath work that will teach you how to reduce stress, decrease inflammation, ease pain, and improve mobility. As we move through mobility exercises, she will educate you on how to maintain improved range of motion and lessen pain throughout the body. This session will leave you refreshed and connected back into your body.

What is the Cancellation Policy?
We will provide a full refund up to 24 hours in advance of the event. Within 24 hours, you will receive a full credit on your account which you can use towards payment for a future event.
I don’t know anyone, can I come alone?
Yes, absolutely! We hope you are never deterred by not having a friend to accompany you. The purpose of these events is to meet like-minded people, and we will kick off every event with a mini icebreaker game to ensure you know at least one friendly face in the crowd.
What time will the event actually start?
We will open the doors promptly at the time the event is called for. If arriving early - we appreciate punctuality - we may ask you to hang tight while we finish setting up the beautiful space!
I’m held up with another obligation and running late, is that ok?
Yes, feel free to come at any time, and we will ensure there is still a swag bag for you. If you’re running late, we cannot guarantee that all of the on-site brands will have samples and food left, however. People get hungry - what can we say!
What’s in the swag bag?
Telling you would ruin the surprise! But we like to vary it every time to ensure that you’re getting access to the best products in the wellness space and helping you discover new brands you’ll love!
I have an allergy, can I be accommodated?
We always make an effort to accommodate as many allergies as possible, and list all allergies that are “safe” in the food at the event. However, if you’re concerned feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
